Arrive Yangon, transfer to your hotel, then continue with sightseeing to include downtown area, the colossal reclining Buddha, Kandawgyi Lake and the inspiring Shwegagon Pagoda.
Yangon – Bagan
Transfer to airport for flight to Bagan. Afternoon sightseeing tour of one of Asia’s most popular archaeological destinations.
Sightseeing highlights include visits to more of Bagans impressive pagodas including Nagayon, many Buddhas, Nanpaya, Gubaukgyi including Myinkaba.
Fly to Mandalay and take a boat ride to the ruins of the Mingun pagoda, Mingun Bell and village. Tour Mandalay including Mahamuni Pagoda and Monastery noted for exquisite wood carvings.
Sightseeing highlights include Maymyo the former British Hill station, Pin U Lwin, Purcell Tower, the Botanical Gardens and Naung Kan Gyi Paya where you will see a panorama view of the town.
Transfer and train to Naung Paing then drive to Thipaw
Boat ride up stream then a 30 minute walk to the Shan monastery (150 years, sitting alone in the forest) passing plantations, a swim in the river and lunch is included.
After breakfast you will be driven back to Mandalay.
Fly to Heho before driving to Pindaya and a visit to the limestone caves filled with nearly 8,000 Buddha images. Passing local villages along the way before continuing onto Inle Lake.
Sightseeing of Inle Lake with a visit to Indain and its 16th century pagodas.
Heho – Yangon
Transfer and fly to Yangon and visit Botataung Pagoda, then onto China town before a visit to the famous Scott Market.
Transfer to airport for your onward flight.
