Learn about Hmong & Lahu hill tribe culture on this 3 day tour, departing from Chiang Mai and ending in Chiang Khong, allowing the perfect opportunity to continue with travels to Laos.
You will be met at your Chiang Mai hotel for the transfer to Lanjia Lodge to be greeted by the local Lanna people. This evening, enjoy dinner and watch traditional Hmong performances.
After breakfast, watch a presentation about Hmong and Lahu tribes, the Golden triangle area and the giant catfish – the world’s biggest fresh water fish found in the Mekong River. Later tour the Hmong and Lahu hill tribe village. After lunch continue on to get a first-hand experience on how to make Hmong batik or alternatively, learn how to make and set animal traps. You can then help the villager to plant trees at the Herbal Plant Nursery Project. the main objective is to improve the quality of life of local people by educating them on how to grow vegetable and the importance of the eco-system in their village.
Following breakfast, you will be transferred to Chiang Khong where tour arrangements end.
