ITINERARY

• Day 1:

  This morning you will be collected from your hotel and taken to Luang Prabang pier to board a traditional long boat for your trip up the Mekong River . Visit Pak Ou Caves and marvel at the thousands of gold Buddha statues placed in sacred caves by locals over the many years. Reaching the lodge around midday, check-in to your tented accommodation followed by a traditional Lao lunch in the open sala. After lunch, the afternoon is free at leisure. You can choose to relax or partake in traditional Kamu lifestyle activities such as rice planting, gold panning in the Mekong (seasonal), jungle walks, trekking or fishing with traditional techniques.  Dinner is a feast of Kamu specialties. 

• Day 2:

  Today, spend the morning at leisure before your transfer back to Luang Prabang, arriving back at approximately 4.30pm. Tour arrangements end upon your transfer to your hotel.
