Today you set off to Penang with stops along the way and Sam Poh Tong Cave, the royal town of Kuala Kangsar and Kuala Sepetang mangrove forest, the best managed mangrove forest in Malaysia and one that serves a very important ecological role in protecting the coastline from erosion. Cross over to Penang, better known as the "Pearl of the Orient" via the fifth longest bridge in the world.
This morning enjoy a Cultural and Heritage tour of Georgetown, officially been declared as a UNESCO heritage site. Visit the 3rd longest reclining Buddha figure in the world followed by Kek Lok Si Temple. The afternoon is at leisure and in the evening explore the nightlife of Batu Ferringhi.
