ITINERARY

• Day 1:

  On arrival in Beijing you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

• Day 2:

  A sightseeing tour of Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and Summer Palace. Optional Kung Fu Show with Peking Duck Dinner.

• Day 3 

  Today you will visit the Great Wall ( Badaling section), continue to visit a Jade Stone Carving Factory with a photo stop at the iconic 'Beijing 2008 Olympic Centre' - the Birds Nest & Water Cube.

• Day 4:

  This morning a tour of the Temple of Heaven followed by a Hutong tour by rickshaw including a home visit.

• Day 5:

  This morning fly to Xian, on arrival visit the Shaanxi provincial Museum. In the afternoon visit the Big Wild Goose pagoda.

• Day 6:

  A full day tour to the UNESCO Terracotta Warriors & Bronze Chariots. On the way back to Xian a stop is made at a Ceramics & Pottery workshop. Tonight a Dumpling Dinner and Tang Dynasty Show.

• Day 7:

  Flight to Guilin, on arrival a visit to the Reed Flute Cave and tour to the underground crystal palace.

• Day 8:

  Cruise the Li River and disembark at Yangshuo and stroll around this quaint town before the drive back to Guilin.

• Day 9:

  Free day to explore Guilin - optional tour to Longsheng home to the Dragon Spine Rice Terraces.

• Day 10:

  Morning flight to Chongqing, on arrival a visit to the Panda Zoo followed by a local hot pot dinner before boarding the deluxe MV Gold No 5 Cruise.

• Day 11:

  Set sail on your Cruise for a distance of 430 miles in all the great gorges.

• Day 12:

  Cruise the Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge.

• Day 13:

  Excursion to the Three Gorges Dam, disembark and transfer in Yichang to the airport for your afternoon flight to Shanghai.

• Day 14:

  Full day tour visiting Old Downtown, Yu Gardens, Shanghai Museum, The Bund before continuing onto Xintiandi and Pudong. This evening a Acrobatic show with dinner.

• Day 15:

  Depart Shanghai for your onward flight.
