3 days exploring iconic Mt Fuji, Hakone, Kyoto & Nara.
Depart Tokyo by deluxe coach to the foot of Mt. Fuji, visit Mt. Fuji Visitor Center and then drive halfway up Japan’s highest mountain to enjoy a spectacular view from a height of 2,300 meters. After a Japanese-style lunch, visit Hakone for a cruise on Lake Ashi and a ride on the Mt Komagatake Ropeway before boarding the bullet train to Kyoto.
A sightseeing tour of Kyoto this morning, visits Kinkakuji Temple (Golden Pavilion), Nijo Castle and Kyoto Imperial Palace. After lunch take an excursion to Nara. Visit Todaiji Temple which houses a Great Buddha, colourful Kasuga Taisha Shrine which boasts 3000 lanterns, and Nara Park where there are many free roaming, tame deer.

1/ This is a locally guided tour with different local guides provided for you in each city. The tour operates on a modular basis and you may be travelling with different passengers each day.
2/ Trains in Japan do not have adequate space for luggage storage. Your baggage will be transferred overland from Tokyo to Kyoto on day 1 and will be at your hotel when you arrive in Kyoto. An allowance of one piece of baggage per person is included. Additional pieces will incur a surcharge payable direct in Japan. Alternatively if you are returning to Tokyo at the completion of this tour we recommend leaving your main luggage at your Tokyo Hotel and traveling with a small overnight bag.
