Day 2:
Enjoy a full day of sightseeing. Visit Tiananmen Square, The Forbidden City and the Summer Palace. Optional This evening join a Legends of Kung Fu Show with Peking Duck Dinner $116 pp
Day 3
This morning after breakfast travel to the Great Wall of China and the Ming Dynasty's Imperial Tomb. If time permits visit a Jade Stone carving factory and a quick stop at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Centre for a photo stop.
Day 4:
This morning start the day with a visit to the Temple of Heaven, the renowned imperial site where the ancient Chinese Emperors made sacrifices to Heaven for bountiful harvests. Then continue to a Pearl Factory to see how these exquisite items are processed into jewellery. After lunch enjoy a traditional rickshaw ride through the ancient Hutong's.
Day 5:
Morning transfer to the airport for the flight to Xi'an. On arrival visit the Shaanxi Provincial Museum housing precious art treasures, stone carvings and relics of the Han & Tang Dynasties. Afternoon visit to Xians landmark the Big Wild Goose Pagoda.
Day 6:
Enjoy a full day tour to the 2000 year old UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Army of Qin Terracotta Warriors & Bronze Chariots which remains stunningly well preserved. En-route visit a Ceramics and Pottery Centre. Tonight enjoy a Dumpling Dinner and colourful Tang Dynasty Show.
Day 7:
Transfer to the airport for the flight to Chengdu, where you will visit the ancient streets for an introduction.
Day 8:
Enjoy what will be no doubt, one of the highlights of your tour wwith a visit to the Giant Panda Natural Reserve and Peoples Park. Tonight you have an option to add on a Sichuan dinner & folklore show, including mask-changing magic.
Day 9:
Board the train to Chongquing and visit the Dazu Grottoes en route.
Day 10:
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Shanghai where the rest of the day is spent at leisure.
Day 11:
Full day tour starts with a visit to the classical Yu Gardens, Shanghai Museum before continuing onto the Bund and Xintiandi. Tonight encounter a special treat as the Chinese acrobats perform their incredible Acrobatic Show with dinner.
Day 12:
Today's highlight is an excursion to Suzhou, which is known as the "Venice of the East". Visit the Garden of Master of Nets one of the most famous gardens before taking a cruise on the Grand Canal. A visit to a silk spinning factory and Pingjiang Road Old Town area before returning to Shanghai.
Day 13:
At leisure until a transfer to Shanghai airport for your departure flight.
