ITINERARY

• Day 1:

  Arrive Chengdu. Visit a local park where you'll see the locals going about their daily lives - join in a local dance, sip some tea, play Chinese chess and learn to play mahjong, a traditional Chinese game using little cubes instead of playing cards.  Later in the day, watch a Sichuan Opera performance.

• Day 2:

  Visit a Culinary Museum to find out the culinary history of China, followed by a cooking lesson of select authentic Chinese dishes which you will enjoy for lunch. In the afternoon, visit Qingcheng Mountain, recognised as the birthplace of Daoism. Tonight, enjoy a hot pot for dinner.

• Day 3:

  Rise early to visit the panda breeding centre and see adorable pandas. In the afternoon, drive to Leshan know for the largest stone-carved Buddha in the world and also a UNESVO World Heritage Site. Upon returning to Chengdu, take a walk through Jinli Street, one of the oldest shopping streets in the Sichuan Province.

• Day 4:

  Today, transfer to Chengdu Airport where tour arrangements end.
