Kuching - Hilton Batang Ai Longhouse Resort -Depart hotel for the Semenggok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre. A temporary home for displaced Orang Utans that have been rescued from captivity and young orphaned primates. Before a 5 hour journey to Batang Ai passing rice paddy fields, pepper plantations and local villages.
Hilton BAtang Ai Longhouse - Kuching -This morning depart for the Lemanak River to board the native longboats to visit an Iban longhouse, the Ibans live along the river and were once known to be the most fearsome pirates and head hunters. Today living harmoniously as farmers, fishing and hunting in the surrounding jungles.
