Day 1 Pakse – Bolaven Plateau – Tadlo
Upon arrival at Pakse Airport, you will be met and transferred by road west into the Bolavan Plateau. An area known for its many waterfalls, visit a few key falls along with nearby ethnic minority villages.

Day 2 Pakse
This morning’s excursion is by jeep – travel along dirt roads to Tad Moun Waterfalls where there is time to relax and swim before continuing to Khamsone’s Coffee Farm. Enjoy a coffee roasting step demonstration, a coffee tasting and lunch with the Khamsone family. This afternoon visit Tad Fan, a trip to the plateau provides a refreshing break from the heat and allows cultivation observation of rich coffee, tea, cardamom, bananas and other crops.

Day 3 Pakse – Don Khong
Rise early and head out towards Khong Island. Cross the Mekong to visit the fascinating pre-angkorian ruins of Wat Phou, one of Southeast Asia’s most dramatically situated temples. Continue on by road to Don Khong, the largest island in the South Mekong river region known as the 4000 islands, one of the most scenic areas in Laos.

Day 4 Don Khong – 4000 Islands – Pakse
Explore the surrounding countryside and embark on a long tail boat tour of the Don Khone area, visiting the remains of the French period and Liphi Waterfall or the ‘Corridor of the Devil’. Return to the mainland and drive further south to visit Khone Phapheng, considered the largest waterfall by volume in South East Asia and an area which is teeming with wildlife.

Day 5 Pakse
Today, transfer to Pakse Airport where tour arrangements end.
