Day 1: Hanoi
Arrive in Hanoi anytime today where you will be met for a transfer to your hotel.     

Day 2: Hanoi
Enjoy a morning city tour with highlights including Hoa Lo prison, the Women’s Museum and The Temple of Literature. After lunch at KOTO a restaurant training disadvantaged youth visit Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, and walk the Old Quarter.

Day 3: Hanoi – Halong Bay
Depart Hanoi and head to Halong Bay for an overnight cruise. Cruise amongst the limestone islands with stops along the way. 

Day 4: Halong Bay – Hoi An
Cruise back to port and onto Hanoi Airport for a flight to Danang followed by a transfer to Hoi An.

Day 5: Hoi An
Discover the ancient ruins of My Son in the morning followed by an afternoon walking tour of Hoi An’s historic town. Admire the ancient shop houses, the Japanese covered bridge and the myriad of beautiful lanterns. The evening is at leisure.

Day 6: Hoi An
Today is at leisure or take part in an optional tour (additional cost) choose from a cooking class, bicycle tour of a countryside village or an ethnic village tour.

Day 7: Hoi An – Hue via the Hai Van Pass
Today travel to Hue via the spectacular Hai Van Pass. You’ll visit Marble Mountain, the Dragon Bridge in Danang and the Cham Museum along the way.

Day 8: Hue
Explore the historical significance on a city tour of the small city of Hue – highlights include Thien Mu Pagoda, the Ancient Citadel and the tomb of the Emperor Khai Dinh.

Day 9: Hue – Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon)
Fly to Ho Chi Minh City and enjoy a tour of all the main sights including the Notre Dame Cathedral, Ho Chi Minh Central Post Office and the War Museum.

Day 10: Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon)
Enjoy a magical speedboat trip up Saigon River to visit the infamous Cu Chi Tunnels.

Day 11: Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) Cruise Departure
Transfer to the departure point of your river cruise from which you will be hosted and guided by the river cruise company for the next seven nights. Board a luxury river cruise ship which will take you on an amazing journey to places rarely visited.

Day 12: Cai Be, Mekong
Today a visit is made to Cai Be, a main floating market, which you will visit onboard a smaller boat. Witness local home life along the canals on the way back to the ship.

Day 13: Border Crossing
Enjoy a stop at a colourful market near ancient temples and cruise past floating houses. The afternoon is spent cruising up river.

Day 14: Phnom Penh (Cambodia)
Today, explore charming Phnom Penh, once called the Paris of the East.

Day 15: Angkor Ban – Kampong Cham
At the break of dawn cruise on past tranquil villages, exhilarating river life and sun-hardened fishermen on their shift boats.

Day 16: Kampong Cham
This morning’s excursion is by tuk-tuk to explore an island and learn how silk is processed from its source. Afterwards a Monks’ blessing ceremony on board delivers spirits and wishes for health and prosperity for all.

Day 17: Kampong Chhnang
Dependent on river water levels, today’s excursion may include a visit to the Cambodian water world village.

Day 18: Siem Reap
Farewell your ship crew, disembark and transfer to Siem Reap.

Day 19: Siem Reap / Angkor Temples Excursion
Discover the incredible key temples of the Angkor complex today.

Day 20: Siem Reap
Transfer to Siem Reap Airport where tour arrangements end.
