Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi
Upon arrival at Hanoi Airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

Day 2: Hanoi
Get ready to see Hanoi as very few others do. Today’s tour offers the perfect blend of iconic cultural sites of Hanoi and offbeat districts to sample some genuine local life before taking a gastronomy adventure in the Old Quarter.

Day 3: Hanoi – Suoi Mu
Head southwest on the Ho Chi Minh Road to the Tam Diep mountain range and stop for lunch at the top. Head down into the valley where beautiful scenery awaits. Reach a private lodge set by cascades and natural pools where you are hosted for the night by a family of Muong ethnic people.

Day 4: Suoi Mu – Ninh Binh
Today head to the Ninh Binh region, the so-called inland Halong Bay. Arrive in a hidden corner of the region for a lunch stop. The afternoon incorporates a scenic rowed sampan cruise to reach Tam Coc, the most renowned valley of the region for its towering limestone rocks and beautiful rice fields. A climb up Bich Dong pagoda also offers a breath-taking view of the area once at the top.

Day 5: Ninh Binh – Bai Dinh – Trang An
Explore the Bai Dinh Pagoda, the biggest pagoda in Vietnam with 500 La Han statues and the biggest bronze Buddha statue in Vietnam – 10-metres in height, 100-tons in weight. A visit to the Trang An Grottoes is also on today’s itinerary. Take a boat trip to visit the incredible cave complex.

Day 6: Ninh Binh – Halong Bay
Today is an early wake up, early breakfast and early departure. Drive across the Red River Delta to reach the waters of  Halong Bay. Embark on a beautifully crafted wooden junk for an overnight cruise in the legendary seascape of Halong Bay with excursions along the way. Overnight on board in a private cabin with bathroom.

Day 7: Halong Bay – Hanoi
For the early risers, a Tai Chi session is proposed along with the beautiful lights of sunrise. As you cruise back to port, brunch is served. Upon disembarkation, transfer to Hanoi Airport where tour arrangements end.
