Throughout the Chinese history, over 20 dynasties have appeared in Central China with some of the ancient cities serving as their capitals, carrying forward the Huaxia Civilization. From UNESCO Sites, sacred mountains to birthplaces and ancient inscriptions, on this 10 day adventure delve into the lesser visited areas of Zhengzhou and Luoyang yet still incorporating the world-renowned ancient capital of Xian with over 3,000 years of history.

Day 1: Zhengzhou
Arrive in Zhengzhou and transfer to your hotel. Zhengzhou is the provincial capital of Henan and one of the National Central Cities in China. As the Neolithic Shang Dynasty established its capital here, it is a veritable pre-historical city.

Day 2: Zhengzhou
Visit the Yellow River Scenic Area, considered as the mother river in China. Continue eastbound to Kaifeng, serving as the capital seven times in history, visit the signature sites of Kaifeng.

Day 3: Zhengzhou – Luoyang
Transfer to Luoyang. En-route stop at Dengfeng and visit the Shaolin Monastery considered the birthplace of Chinese kung fu.

Day 4: Luoyang
At near 1,000m, explore the UNESCO listed Longmen Grottoes. Overwhelmingly depicting Buddhist subjects, Longmen Grottoes are one of the three most famous ancient sculptural sites in China. Later visit the Luoyang old town district

Day 5: Luoyang – Sanmenxia
Transfer to Sanmenxia and visit Guo State Museum and Diyin Courtyard. The courtyard dwellings date back more than 4,000 years and are unique to the region south of Shanxi, where there is a lack of stone and the soil is rich in solid loess, a type of sediment brought in by the Yellow River from the Gobi Desert.

Day 6: Sanmenxia – Mt.Huashan
Transfer to Mt.Huashan. En-route stop to view the Yongle Gong frescoes. The frescoes show Taoist mythology – some of the painters were unknown folk artisans. With their ability and wisdom, they left later generations a world-level artistic treasury.

Day 7: Mt.Huashan
Today explore Mt.Huashan, one of five sacred mountains in China.

Day 8: Mt.Huashan – Xian
Transfer to Xian. Visit the renowned Terracotta Warriors site. This evening enjoy a Tang Dynasty Show and dumpling dinner.

Day 9: Xian
Explore the key sights of Xian today.

Day 10: Xian
Transfer to Xian Airport where tour arrangements end.
