Day 1: Yangon (L, D)
Min ga la ba! Welcome to Yangon, Myanmar. You are greeted by your guide and driver at the International airport for your transfer to the hotel.
Day 2: Yangon (B, L, D)
Transfer to Yangon Central Railway where you will take a train ride* on the Circle Line. While waiting for the train, you can stroll around the interesting local market nearby to see the bustling local daily market scene. Transfer back by taxi to Yangon and have lunch. You can be sure to have a healthy, nourishing delicious meal that will have a positive impact on your overall mind, body and health.
Day 3: Yangon – Bagan (B, L)
Fly to Bagan to explore their most important pagodas. The journey of discovery then continues to temples and other architectural masterpieces. The rest of the evening is free at leisure.
Day 4: Bagan (B, L)
Today, join a vegan cooking class and savour your creations. This evening, enjoy a sunset cruise on the Irrawaddy River with drinks and light snacks.
Day 5: Bagan – Mandalay (B, L)
Transfer to Bagan Airport for a flight to Mandalay. Enjoy a traditional workshop, breaking for lunch at a popular tea house. Spend the afternoon the highest point in the city, for spectacular panoramic views during sunset.
Day 6: Ava (B, L, D)
Journey to the ancient kingdoms of Myanmar near Mandalay – Ava, Sagaing and Amarapura. In the evening enjoy a traditional ‘Royal’ dinner.
Day 7: Mandalay – Inle Lake (B, L)
Transfer to Mandalay Airport for a flight to Heho and a drive to Nyaung Shwe town. Explore the bustling canal by trishaw. For lunch, enjoy Shan tapas then head to Red Mountain Estate vineyard.
Day 8: Inle Lake (B, L)
Shan cuisine is famous for its refined taste and the possibility to make amazing dishes with just a few ingredients – learn about this in a cooking class.
Day 9: Inle Lake (B, L)
Travel by boat across the lake to Indaing. For lunch, be welcomed by the home owners of a hidden Intha village house and experience traditional vegan dining.
Day 10: Inle Lake – Yangon (B, L)
Transfer to Heho Airport for a flight to Yangon and take connecting flight for your onward flight.
