Begin the journey with Tea and visit Dilmah Tea’s Tasting Room in Colombo where you will meet the Fernando family. Next is Negombo, an old and large fishing town offering an abundance of seafood with lagoon lobsters, crabs, and prawns. Then the famed Sigiriya Rock Fortress, sitting on a rocky plateau 370 metres above sea level, it is one of the most visited destinations of Sri Lanka. Take in a Minneriya Elephant jeep safari before heading north into Jaffna, an area with a dominant Tamil culture and a complete change in Cuisine. Head to the northeastern coast for a different seafood experience then inland to Kandy where the cuisine is inspired by its tapestry of multi-culture diversity, then on to Hatton with Dilmah Tea to experience all that is Tea & Cuisine with Ceylon Tea Trails. Move on to the southern coast and explore Galle where the Arab merchants brought with them many dishes perhaps most quintessential, the Biryani.
The final culinary experience is a day out on a Junk in Hong Kong and a visit to the Best Seafood Restaurant Ever on Po Toi Island – Guaranteed.
