This pioneering 14-night river expedition will allow you to discover charming villages, stunning scenery, pristine jungle, the Golden Triangle and the emerald green Mekong in China’s Yunnan province.
Departing from Luang Prabang, explore this quaint town before setting sail up river through dramatic scenery with lush jungle and forest punctuated by tiny villages clinging to the river bank. Upon nearing Pak Beng, the scenery becomes even more dramatic and the river faster and more treacherous.
As you near the Thai border, appreciate the contrasting culture from Laos, and then again before crossing into China at Guan Lei.
