This four day Vespa adventure starts out in the famous city of Saigon, where you will get to see the sights and experience the busy lifestyles of this great city.

By night, enjoy a ‘Saigon After Dark’ tour, taking you to the most fabulous and well-hidden dining spots in the city. After Ho Chi Minh City, journey east and explore the Vietnam most visitors never see. Stay in the hidden beachside gem of Mui Ke Ga for a night of relaxation after a day on the Vespas. After Mui Ke Ga, continue along the coast up to the scenic beachside resort of Mui Ne where you will have a chance to explore the area, its history and interact with the locals.

Itinerary


Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City (L, D)

A Vespa tour of modern-day Ho Chi Minh City will give you a view of the city unlike anything on a package tour, and much more than you could find on your own. We know Ho Chi Minh City, and exactly how to take in the must-see landmarks while getting you off the crowded tourist trail. Take a peek at the history, the streets and the sights that most visitors never even hear about or see. We’ll take you through the Chinese district of Ho Chi Minh City, stop to see a sweet smelling flower market and visit a breathtaking yet hidden Buddhist pagoda. Also, see the must-see landmarks such as the famous Saigon Cathedral and Post Office which were designed by Gustave Eiffel. Depending on the time of day the tour takes place, we will begin or end with lunch at Café Zoom.

In the afternoon, there is a safety briefing followed by free time to explore the city. For the night’s entertainment there will be a foodie night out on the town with a Saigon After Dark Tour, experience the nightlife the way the locals do!


Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City - Mui Ke Ga (B, L, D) (Ride 160km)

We start early on the second morning of the tour, for a day full of exciting stops. First we take a speedboat to Vung Tau, and then hop on our vintage Vespa scooters. Next, take a quick tour of Vung Tau, visit Bao Dai Museum, Jesus statue and Thai Thiem Temple. Continue riding on Vespas along the tropical coast through Ho Coc, Long Hai Village, Binh Chau, Dinh Co Temple and the nearby graves followed by a peaceful lunch on the beach.

In the late afternoon, the tour will continue through Ho Tram and La Gi, where we’ll decamp for dinner and an overnight stay.


Day 3: Mui Ke Ga – Mui Ne (B, L, D) (Ride 55km)

This morning’s adventure takes us along the scenic coastal road from Mui Ke Ga to Phan Thiet and its sister town to the north, Mui Ne. We’ll stop at a local cafe, a traditional handmade rice paper manufacturer and a dragon fruit farm to interact with the locals. After this, a succulent seafood lunch will be served at Cay Bang Restaurant. Next will be some leisure time on the beach before gathering for a sumptuous Vietnamese-style seafood dinner.

Day 4: Mui Ne (B, L)

This morning, visit a hidden local village, a traditional fish-sauce manufacturer and the nearby fishing village followed by a visit to the local market. Next, enjoy a cruise to the wind-softened sands of Mui Ne’s famous white sand dunes. On the way back into town we’ll stop by Mui Ne’s popular Fairy Stream and visit some of the lesser-seen local villages. Your Vespa adventure will come to an end with lunch at one of Mui Ne’s favourite local seafood restaurants.
