Visit morning markets where vendors sell fresh fruit and vegetables, meats, pastes and well-liked breakfast treats such as pancakes, steamed sticky rice with beans, donuts and samosas. Stop and taste some of these treats as you walk by. Visit a local favourite tea shop, try palata (thick pancakes) and stop for lunch at a popular local restaurant serving authentic Burmese food. This is the perfect way to complete this day of culinary exploration.
