Itinerary


Day 1: Chengdu (D)

Arrive in Chengdu for a trip briefing and bike fitting. This evening enjoy a welcome dinner.

Day 2: Chengdu – Anren (B, L, D) Cycle 63km
We transfer to Dujiangyan Panda Valley and observe the lovable pandas. Cycle from the valley through two ancient towns.

Day 3: Anren – Mengding (B, L, D) Cycle 60km

Today, leave the flats behind and head for the hills for a climb up into tea country.

Day 4: Mengding – Mt. Emei (B, L, D) Cycle 70km

Enjoy a downhill start to a riverside road, through a tall gorge to the back of Mt. Emei, the highest of four sacred Buddhist mountains in China.

Day 5: Mt. Emei – Leshan (B, L, D) Cycle 30km

Explore Mt. Emei and it’s many temples and shrines. Ride to Leshan and take a boat ride to the world’s largest seated Buddha, carved out of a cliff face.

Day 6: Leshan – Huanglongxi (B, L, D) Cycle 75km

We ride along the Min River. Stop for a walk through a bamboo grove. The ride ends today at Huanglongxi where many Chinese movies have been filmed.

Day 7: Huanglongxi – Chengdu (B)

Today, transfer directly to Chengdu Airport where tour arrangements end.
