Day 1: Hanoi (D)

Arrive in Hanoi and transfer to your hotel. This afternoon, enjoy a walking tour of the fascinating Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake. This evening, get to know the rest of the tour group members as you enjoy a wonderful Vietnamese dinner.

Day 2: Hanoi (B, L)
Enjoy a city tour with highlights including Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, the infamous Hoa Lo prison, the Women’s Museum and the Temple of Literature. Lunch is at KOTO, a not-for-profit restaurant helping troubled youth learn life skills. The afternoon is spent at leisure.

Day 3: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B, L, D)

Depart for Halong Bay where you will board your cruise boat which combines oriental style with contemporary comfort. Spend the afternoon cruising amongst the limestone islands with stops along the way. Overnight on board.

Day 4: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B)

For the early risers, partake in Tai Chi on the sundeck or simply enjoy dawn break. Cruise back to port and transfer to Hanoi where tour arrangements end.
