Head to the infamous bridge on the River Kwai, built by allied prisoners of war during World War II.
Visit the provincial town, the war cemetery containing the graves of an estimated 9,000 allied soldiers who died building the bridge and the notorious “Death Railway”. At the Jeath Museum, see a replica of a Japanese POW camp before taking a train journey along a stunning stretch of the Death Railway which slows at spectacular viewpoints en-route for photo opportunities.
