Watch the early morning practice of sumo wrestlers whilst seated in the sumo stable, close enough to hear their breathing and witness the full force of their training.

See the sumo wrestlers as they earnestly engage in their practice, their burly frames clashing with full impact, right before your eyes. You will watch whilst seated on a zabuton, a sitting cushion on the floor. Continue on and learn about this fascinating sport with a visit to the Sumo Museum. Your guide, who is also a sumo fan, will guide you through the museum and answer any questions you may have. After exploring the museum, enjoy lunch, a Chanko hot pot, a healthy dish traditionally eaten by sumo wrestlers after the practice and is said to be their source of power, for lunch. After lunch, make your own way to your hotel or wander and enjoy the sights.
