Departing from Beijing, spend time covering key sights before flying to Xian, where the Terracotta Warriors and a Tang Dynasty show are enjoyed. Continue on to Luoyang, home to the Longmen Grottoes. Spanning 1,000 metres on the hillsides along the Yi River, the grottoes are regarded as one of the three most treasured stone inscriptions in China. On route to Zhengzhou visit the famous Shaolin temple, the birthplace of Chinese kung fu. Spend a day exploring Kaifeng ahead of travelling to Shanghai where the tour ends.
