Arriving in Ninh Binh after a two hour drive, visit the ancient capital of Hoa Lu and the remaining two temples of King Dinh and King Le. From here, begin your cycling journey through the countryside. Visit Bich Dong Cave Pagoda built in 1428 and located on the side of a mountain, admire Phat Diem Cathedral, which sits in amongst pretty rice fields and canals. The complex comprises of a lake, an expansive cathedral dating back to 1898, Phuong Dinh (bell house) and three artificial grottoes.
