Commencing in Seoul and ending in Busan this 5 day tour explores areas which have kept their traditions and ancient heritage.
Seoul’s history is uncovered with visits to Gyeongbokgung Palace and Jogyesa Temple before travelling 30km to the Hwaseong Fortress surrounding the centre of Suwon. Transfer to Daegu where Haeinsa Temple is located in Gaya National Park protecting 80,000 printing plates containing Buddhist scriptures. Daegu is also home to the largest herbal medicine market in Korea hosting over 1,000 traditional medicine related businesses. In Gyeongju, the spiritual and cultural capital of Korea, take a city tour of the “museum without walls”, including an observatory dating from 634. End the tour in Busan.
